ERM is hiring motivated EHS consultants to join the Performance & Assurance team in the Bay Area, CA and Seattle, WA. This full-time, 12-month term role focuses on implementing OSHA/state requirements, SOPs, risk assessments and emergency plans across diverse client settings.

The position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and hands-on field work, with emphasis on meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations. Benefits and career growth accompany a competitive pay package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of applicable EHS experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization and analytical skills.
• Able to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform compliance audits to assess client adherence to health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Identify corrective actions to close audit findings.
• Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance projects including lab safety and hazardous materials.
• Develop and implement EHS procedures, permits and reports.
• Support clients to improve safety through training and field coaching.
• Manage tasks within scope, budget and schedule with quality deliverables.
• Build client relationships and support project managers.
