Job summary

ERM is hiring Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Consultants to join our Performance & Assurance team in Bay Area California and Seattle Metro Washington. This full-time, field-based role focuses on helping clients implement OSHA/state requirements, risk assessments, emergency plans, and safety programs.

You will perform compliance audits, develop procedures, and coach client teams to improve safety performance while building relationships and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience providing EHS support.
• Effective written and verbal communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple assignments and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform compliance audits to assess client compliance with health and safety or environmental rules and standards.
• Identify follow-up corrective actions to close audit findings.
• Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance and management system projects.
• Develop and implement EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
• Support clients’ efforts to improve safety performance through training and field coaching.
