Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to support inpatient and outpatient ED teams. The role focuses on lab draws, EKGs, and assisting nurses and doctors to deliver high-quality patient care.

The part-time position (24hrs weekly) runs Mon/Wed/Fri 11a–7p. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, <1 year clinical experience, and EMT-B certification (or approved Military Hospital Corps/advanced clinical program). Prior Sentara ED tech experience within 2 years may be considered.

Qualifications

• High School Grad Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Clinical experience is required (<1 year).
• EMT-B certification at hire or approved military/clinical program.
