Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) for our on-site ED. The role includes lab draws, EKGs, and assisting nurses and doctors with patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Clinical experience of less than 1 year is needed.
• EMT-B with state or national certification at time of hire OR successful completion of US Military Hospital Corps School OR current enrollment in an advanced clinical program.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab draws and EKGs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with patient care in the ED.
• Collaborate with the ED team to ensure high-quality patient care.
