About Play seeks an Early Interventionist to serve Beaufort, Colleton, and Jasper counties in South Carolina. The role involves delivering family-centered services to birth-to-six children with developmental delays, in home or natural settings, with on-the-job training available.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience; travel up to 50-75% is expected. Work schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:30–5:00, with benefits including health and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of documented experience with children birth to six years.
• Prior early interventionist experience preferred or recent graduate with related field & on-the-job training.
• Willingness for on-the-job training and learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Perform family training with the caregiver and child in home, daycare, or natural environments.
• Provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote child development.
• Monitor progress of the child and family.
