Job summary

Community Support Services of Missouri is hiring a First Steps Service Coordinator for the Jasper County region. This full-time role oversees referral, intake, eligibility, and IFSP implementation for Missouri’s First Steps Early Intervention program, serving as the SPOE for the region.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills, plus the ability to manage records and coordinate with families to access services within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required as delineated by Missouri First Steps personnel standards.
• Excellent communication and interviewing skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and electronic records systems.
• Ability to identify community and state resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage referral, intake, eligibility, and IFSP implementation within the First Steps program.
• Coordinate and document IFSP development and meetings within 45 days of referral.
• Maintain electronic records in the Web-SPOE system.
• Maintain HIPAA/FERPA compliant files and case notes within two working days.
• Attend team meetings and engage families with rapport and respect.
• Refer families to state and community resources and monitor service delivery.
• Participate in CSS and state agency meetings, trainings, and public awareness activities.
• Uphold compliance standards and applicable program indicators.
