Job summary

4Cs Sonoma County in Santa Rosa is seeking an Associate Teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, working closely with the Site Supervisor. This non-exempt role involves supervising children, conducting assessments, and supporting families through conferences.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, CA CDA permit, CPR/First Aid, and at least 1 year of childcare experience, with infant/toddler coursework as needed. Benefits and a collaborative team await.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CA Child Development Associate Teacher Permit required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in childcare.
• Infant/Toddler 3-unit course required for 2-3 year olds.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Collaborate with Site Supervisor to document progress and plan activities.
• Supervise children and support social-emotional development.
• Assist with parent conferences and assessments using DRDP-R.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in program evaluations.
