Paterson Public School District seeks a Coordinator of Early Childhood Programs to lead administrative duties for the Department of Early Childhood Education and collaborate with State Mandated Preschool Centers and families. You will support data systems, ensure high customer service, and oversee outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 60 college credits; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Have at least five years of experience and understanding of New Jersey’s State-Mandated Preschool Programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in customer service.
• Ability to plan, organize, and complete assigned work; analyze data.
• Experience in a diverse urban school district is preferred; knowledge of employment law helpful.

Responsibilities

• Work with collaborating State Mandated Preschools to provide support for the Preschool Program.
• Assist and support the Department staff, administrators, PPS teachers and principals.
• Perform various clerical responsibilities.
• Be the Staff Attendance Coordinator for the Department.
