Job summary

Paterson Public Schools is seeking an Early Childhood Coordinator of Operations to perform administrative duties and support the Department of Early Childhood Education, collaborating centers, and families. Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credits; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience with New Jersey State-Mandated Preschool Programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customer service experience.
• Ability to plan, organize and complete assigned work.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and accurately.
• Experience in a diverse urban school district is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with State Mandated Preschools to support the Preschool Program.
• Assist Department staff, PPS teachers, principals, and staff with Preschool Program support.
• Perform clerical responsibilities and be Staff Attendance Coordinator.
• Provide excellent customer service by routing information to the right resources.
• Prepare management reports and routine documentation using MS Office tools.
• Support events, trainings, and meetings for the Department of Early Childhood Education.
