Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for community outings.
• Ability to pass required background checks and state-mandated training.
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, transfers, and mobility support as needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written care plans.
• Prior caregiving experience helpful but not required; a caring and teachable spirit matters most.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance, including hygiene, meals, and mobility support.
• Encourage and coach individuals to develop life skills, social connections, and self-reliance.
• Support participation in community activities, appointments, and recreational outings.
• Administer medication and follow care plans under supervision.
• Document progress, observations, and incidents accurately and timely.
• Promote a safe, welcoming environment in home and community.
• Communicate regularly with team members, families, and coordinators.
