Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve independence and participate in daily activities. The role involves driving, documenting progress, and promoting person-centered care in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to assist with ADLs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living and community participation.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Promote independence and personal choice.
• Document progress and ISPs as required.
• Observe changes and communicate with supervisors.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities.
• Complete electronic documentation per requirements.
