The role requires listening, adaptability, and reliable transportation for community-based supports, with a focus on behavior support plans and individualized goals.

Qualifications

• Previous Direct Support Professional experience required.
• Experience supporting individuals with behavioral needs preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companionship.
• Encourage independence, social engagement, and community participation.
• Implement individualized care plans and BSPs.
• Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, person-centered environment.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Document services, progress notes, and goals.
