Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals for our Aston, PA program. This role involves mentoring individuals, following Individual Support Plans, and helping with daily living activities to improve independence.

Paid training is provided and no prior experience is required. Schedule includes Thursday and Friday 2:00pm–10:00pm, Saturday 10:00am–10:00pm, and offers benefits such as comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement options, DailyPay, and access to care resources.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Individual Support Plan to support consumer goals.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals to achieve their goals.
• Assist with daily living activities including hygiene and personal care.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry to foster independence.
• Provide care across settings and create meaningful daily routines.

Education

High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred
