Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Crafton, PA. You will supervise residents, assist with daily living activities, and document progress under supervision. Roles include community activity planning, safety, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct and implement functional assessments.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to prepare necessary reports and record progress.
• Ability to plan and supervise social, recreational, work and study activities.

Responsabilités

• Supervises or assists residents in activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene).
• Provides individualized care and documentation under professional direction.
• Maintains written progress reports and program effectiveness.
• Plans and guides social and community activities.
• Transports residents to activities and coordinates with interdisciplinary team.
• Ensures resident safety and maintains a positive environment.
• Participates in staff meetings and trainings.
