Devereux Behavioral Health in Pennsylvania seeks a compassionate Direct Support Professional to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live meaningful lives. You will assist with daily living activities, health and hygiene, cooking, and transportation support, while ensuring safety and dignity.

As part of the Adult Services team, you’ll document progress, participate in shift reporting, and contribute to a supportive, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; diplomas obtained outside the US must be evaluated.
• One year of human service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ideal candidate will be empathetic, a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in daily living activities including health and hygiene management, cooking, and cleaning.
• Provide recreation and document shift reports, incident reports, and individual progress reports.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment addressing physical and emotional needs.
