Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Hardware IC Engineer I to specify, verify, test and document ASICs. You will help develop architecture, design circuits and HDL, run simulations, and contribute to physical layout with parasitic extraction.

The role requires 0–2 years of IC/ASIC hardware experience and a bachelor’s in engineering, with a Master’s preferred. Willingness to obtain a government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate circuits at transistor-level to implement architecture and requirements.
• Contribute to system-level design.
• Optimize hardware designs for performance, power, and cost.
• Evaluate the hardware feasibility of complex algorithms and requirements.
• Contribute to complex chip architectures and designs.
• Develop requirements and adapt to changes in customer needs.
• Perform or guide physical layout and simulate with extracted parasitics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
