Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a production engineer to join the Training Systems team, focusing on development, integration, and deployment of software for simulation environments. You will collaborate with software, hardware, and integration engineers to install, configure, and troubleshoot training applications.

The role requires a BS in CS/EE or related field, 1–3 years of software or systems experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to work under general supervision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/EE or related field.
  • 1–3 years of software development, systems integration, or engineering support experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of programming languages, debugging, and structured development practices.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, networking principles, and software installation processes.
  • Ability to follow engineering direction and work with general supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, integrates, and deploys training system software within a production team.
  • Assists in networking design, system configuration, and interfacing with platform simulation applications.
  • Performs product-level troubleshooting and supports corrective actions to restore system functionality.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation such as design notes and install guides.
  • Collaborates with software, hardware, and integration engineers to support updates and enhancements.
