Job summary

They document patient responses, leverage clinical expertise, and collaborate with the Respiratory Care department to improve patient outcomes. A CRT credential with Arkansas license is required or in process; BLS, PALS/NRP and ACLS may be preferred depending on department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• A.S. degree preferred.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and Arkansas LRCP.
• BLS, PALS and NRP preferred; ACLS may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and test patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction per physician orders.
• Document patient responses and outcomes.
• Integrate clinical expertise to improve quality of care.
