Job summary

Baptist Health in North Little Rock is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to assess, treat, and test patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction according to physician orders and protocols.

The role requires CRT/RRT certification, Arkansas LRCP license, and BLS; PALS and NRP are preferred, ACLS may be required depending on department. Shift is night, with a bi-weekly 72-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program. A.S. degree preferred.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP)
• Basic Life Support Provider (BLS). Prefer PALS and NRP. ACLS may be required depending on assigned department.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and test patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction per physician orders and protocols.
• Document patient responses and conditions.
• Utilize clinical expertise to improve quality of care and patient outcomes.
