Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection invites you to join our Crop Protection Field Development internship in Visalia, CA. You will work with experienced R&D scientists on meaningful projects, gaining hands-on field, greenhouse, and laboratory experience while building technical and leadership skills.

As part of the Emerging Talent Program, you'll shadow projects, participate in cross-functional activities, and deliver a final project summary to stakeholders, with opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

Enrolled in Associate/Bachelor or higher in Agriculture, Biological Sciences, or related field.
Graduation date December 2027 or later.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Fluent in English.
Able to work outdoors and outside normal working hours.
Experience with basic farm equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build knowledge of Syngenta, crop protection, and product development processes.
Support field development trialing activities (planting, treatments, maintenance, data capture).
Collaborate with local Syngenta commercial teams (Sales, Agronomy Services).
Learn processes used to develop products and technologies.
Work independently and in compliance with safety guidelines.
Deliver final internship project summary presentation to stakeholders.
