Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – Madison is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Stepdown/Critical Care unit on a full-time night shift (36 hours per week).

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in good standing for the applicable state.
• BLS HCP required; ACLS/ENPC/NRP/PALS/TNCC certifications encouraged.
• Nursing experience in critical care settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive data from patient and family to form a holistic care plan.
• Analyze data to determine diagnoses or conditions requiring care.
• Collaborate with patient, family and interprofessional team to set outcomes.
• Develop and implement plan with safe, evidence-based care strategies.
• Coordinate care with team to promote safety and quality outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and practice, and participate in quality improvement.
