Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison in Wisconsin is seeking a Regular nurse to provide direct nursing care for patients requiring complex assessments and interventions, in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an interprofessional team, accurate data collection, care planning, safety, and evidence-based practice. Requires RN licensure and BLS, with the flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.
• Current valid nursing license and applicable certifications as required by state(s) of work: BLS HCP, RN, ALS/ENPC/NRP/PALS/TNCC as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Obtains comprehensive data pertinent to the patient to develop a holistic picture of needs.
• Analyzes data to support diagnosis and care planning.
• Implements and coordinates a plan of care with the interprofessional team.
• Monitors patient progress and evaluates outcomes.
• Maintains safety and quality through evidence-based practice.
