CoreCivic seeks a Mental Health Therapist for a correctional facility in Grants, New Mexico. You will plan and deliver non-medical mental health services to inmates, conduct screenings, and develop treatment plans.

The role requires a Master's in a clinical field, 5 years of relevant experience (including 2 in a similar position), and active state licensure or certification (LPC/LCSW/LMFT). A driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or related clinical field.
• Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable role.
• Licensure/certification in the practicing state (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
• Valid driver's license preferred unless contract or statute says otherwise.
• Minimum age of 18 years.

Responsabilités

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments from records and interviews.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans for inmates.
• Document treatment activities in health care records and maintain confidentiality.
• Apply counseling theory and techniques to caseloads and provide crisis interventions.
• Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and support.
