Job summary

One Purse, a nonprofit based in Winter Park, FL, seeks a Chief Operating Officer to lead daily operations and ensure efficient, compliant program delivery across Employment, Education, and Empowerment initiatives.

The COO will supervise staff, streamline processes, and work with the executive team on financial stewardship, budgeting, and cross-functional strategy to maximize impact for survivors and vulnerable communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, nonprofit administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of senior operational leadership experience.
• Experience building KPI dashboards and operational processes.
• Strong financial literacy and budget oversight.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and building inclusive cultures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff, donors, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide operational leadership, aligning revenue, donor engagement, program delivery, and e-commerce execution into a unified model.
• Oversee end-to-end operational workflows from donor intake through resale, fulfillment, and impact reporting, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
• Identify process gaps and implement disciplined execution across functions.
• Lead planning processes and weekly leadership meetings, aiming for high completion of Rock/Priorities.
• Establish KPI dashboards to monitor progress and reduce cycle times.
• Strengthen clarity around roles and accountability across teams.
