Job summary

Par Health is seeking a Specialist, Controlled Substances Compliance - Analyst to review direct customer orders flagged by algorithms, perform risk-based dispositions, and ensure compliance with company policies and DEA requirements.

The role supports the SOMT, reviews KYC questionnaires, and coordinates with Commercial teams to obtain necessary information for decision making. Strong data analytics, attention to detail, and regulatory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; statistical analysis preferred.
• Experience in Controlled Substance Compliance in private sector or government acceptable.
• Strong data analytics, including Excel pivot tables and charts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts first-level review of direct customer orders flagged by company algorithms and recommends disposition.
• Coordinates with National Account Directors and Product Managers for information needed to decide on flagged orders.
• Reviews customer forecasts for focus products.
• Maintains documentation to satisfy DEA reporting requirements and complies with record retention policies.
• Tracks metrics and supports reporting to the Suspicious Order Monitoring Team (SOMT).
