Job summary

Par Health in Webster, NY seeks a Specialist, Controlled Substances Compliance - Analyst to review direct customer orders flagged by algorithms and determine disposition per SOPs, coordinating with Commercial teams to gather necessary information.

The role also supports the KYC program, maintains DEA reporting documentation, and assists the Suspicious Order Monitoring Team by preparing meeting minutes and facilitating reviews, requiring strong analytics and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience, including statistical analysis preferred.
• Prior experience in Controlled Substance Compliance in private sector or as government investigator/regulator preferred.
• Experience in data analytics including Excel pivot tables and charts, graphs.
• Working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience auditing internal processes to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Direct Customer Orders Reviewed & Dispositioned: review orders flagged by algorithms and advise on release per SOPs.
• Coordinate with National Account Directors and Product Managers to gather information for decision making.
• Review customer forecasts for focus products and contact customers for due diligence when needed.
• Create and maintain documentation to satisfy DEA reporting requirements for suspicious orders.
• Review Direct Order Dashboard to detect patterns related to customer accounts; track metrics for SOMT.
• Know Your Customer (KYC) Program: review KYC questionnaires, schedule reviews, maintain KYC documents.
• Support SOMT: assist with media/internet source reviews and prepare meeting minutes; notify DEA of restrictions.
