Job summary

The Idaho Foodbank in Meridian, ID seeks a Community Health & Nutrition Coordinator to advance our mission by coordinating nutrition education programming and strengthening community partnerships. The coordinator gathers neighbor feedback, supports program improvement, and ensures services are accessible and responsive to community needs. Duties may evolve with program priorities.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in education, nutrition, public health, community engagement, social work / social services, or related fields.
• Knowledge of food assistance programs, hunger issues, or experience with social service agencies is a plus!
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and develop reports with technical information.

Responsibilities

• Community Partnerships and Outreach: Support and strengthen regional partnerships that advance community health and food access initiatives.
• Nutrition Education Program Coordination: Coordinate implementation, scheduling, and tracking of nutrition education programming delivered through partner agencies and communities.
• Neighbor Voice and Community Insight: Gather feedback from neighbors to better understand needs and inform program improvement.
