Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Consultant for the Pocono Center to design and direct individualized behavioral intervention plans for children and adolescents and their families. This is an Independent Contractor role serving NEPA communities, with assignments in the field and at the Newfoundland, PA site.

The incumbent will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, complete assessments, develop discharge criteria, and ensure documentation and billing compliance while

Qualifications

• Mental Health Master’s Degree with ABA certification or equivalent.
• 12 credits in behavior management and 1 year of supervised treatment for children plus 1 year of behavioral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Designs and directs individualized behavioral intervention plans.
• Provides child-centered and family-based treatment per CASSP principles.
• Travels to site visits and community settings to support children and families.
• Maintains written documentation of therapeutic progress and billing-related records.
• Participates in ISPT meetings and coordinates with treatment teams.

Education

Master’s degree in Mental Health with ABA certification or equivalent

Degree with 12 credits in behavior management + 1 year supervised treatment experience + 1 year behavior interventions
