Solid Rock Recruiting is seeking a Commercial Carpentry Estimator to join its Estimating and Sales Team. The role focuses on developing detailed estimates, preparing bid deliverables, and supporting post-bid activities while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The estimator will review plans, source pricing, and ensure accurate inclusion of direct, indirect, and overhead costs. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial carpentry estimating and GC estimating.
• Ability to develop detailed estimates and bid deliverables.
• Strong reading of construction plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Review bid calendars and confirm bid dates with customers.
• Perform in-depth review of plans, specs, and RFPs.
• Prepare detailed takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Obtain material and subcontractor pricing from vendors.
• Overlay revised drawings and track changes between plans.
