Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid preparation.
• Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates, bids, budgets, and cost projections for construction projects.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents for accuracy.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop material and labor pricing.
• Solicit, review, and compare subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Analyze project requirements and identify gaps, exclusions, discrepancies, and cost risks.
• Collaborate with project management, operations, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership.
• Develop competitive bids while maintaining profitability.
• Maintain organized estimating documentation and pricing information.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, scope reviews, and turnover meetings.
• Research materials, labor requirements, subcontractor pricing, and market conditions.
• Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and efficiency.
