Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a full-time Classroom Aide to support teachers and students in our Virginia classrooms. If you enjoy helping children reach their potential in a bright, active environment, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

• Tutor individual students, reinforcing instruction as directed by the teacher.
• Distribute and collect paper and supplies for the class.
• Provide support to the teacher with classroom management and guidance.
• Assist students with examples, emotional support, and a positive attitude.
• Monitor students as directed and participate in meetings or trainings.
• Confer with teachers regarding programs and materials to meet student needs.
• Participate in in-service training programs as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
