Job summary
Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking civil, environmental, and transportation engineering interns to support our Municipal and Transportation teams.
This opportunity provides hands-on exposure to a variety of public infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced engineers, designers, and project managers. You may support municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, environmental and permitting-related work, or transportation projects.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Junior or senior standing preferred.
- Strong interest in municipal infrastructure, water/wastewater, environmental, or transportation engineering.
Responsibilities
- Support planning, design, and permitting of civil, environmental, municipal, water/wastewater, and transportation projects.
- Assist with engineering calculations, analyses, and technical evaluations under supervision.
- Prepare engineering reports, memos, and supporting documentation.
- Develop construction drawings, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
- Assist with CAD and design tasks using AutoCAD Civil 3D or other software.
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers.
- Participate in project meetings, field visits, and site investigations.
