Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Child Specific Recruiting Family Advocate in Arizona to support children in the foster care system through targeted recruitment aimed at achieving legal permanency via adoption, guardianship, or family-like placements.

You will develop individualized recruitment plans, engage relatives, fictive kin, and caregivers, and coordinate with ADCS and family teams to promote stable, permanent connections.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field is required or preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field enhances eligibility.
• Experience working with child welfare and permanency planning is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develops a Child Specific Recruitment Plan using case findings and team input.
• Engages relatives, fictive kin, former caregivers, and community partners to identify resources.
• Maintains monthly contact with each child or sibling group to support recruitment readiness.
• Creates recruitment materials and manages Heart Gallery profiles as required.
• Attends Child and Family Team meetings and other required sessions to support permanency planning.
