Job summary

State of Mississippi's Mississippi Centralized Intake and Assessment (MCIA) is seeking a Social Services Supervisor to oversee the 24/7 hotline operations from the Jackson office. You will supervise staff, ensure compliant intake and screening, and use data to drive performance and timely service.

This supervisory role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and relevant supervisory experience in child welfare, with shifts including evenings.

Responsibilities

• Supervises on-site hotline operations during scheduled shifts.
• Conducts quality assurance evaluations and improvement plans.
• Provides initial training, in-service and on-the-job training.
• Assists hotline staff and may serve as staff when needed.
• Ensures calls and intakes are handled professionally with proper documentation.
• Prepares reports on shift operations and uses data to track timeliness and accuracy.
