Job summary

Columbia Mental Health in Manassas, part of Transformations Care Network, seeks a licensed Child & Adolescent Therapist to join our collaborative clinical team for outpatient work with children and families.

You will provide individual and family therapy, develop crisis and wellness plans, and participate in multidisciplinary care while supporting licensure goals and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Experience with children and families.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development including supervision and CE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to client needs.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, admin staff, and fellow therapists.
