Job summary

Lutheran Community Services NW is seeking a Chemical Dependency Counselor to provide low-barrier, culturally sensitive SUD treatment in Washington and Multnomah County areas. You will conduct screenings, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to help clients access behavioral health services.

CADC I/II certification and excellent English communication are required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

Must have CADC I/II certification or national equivalency (NCAC I/II).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Bilingual abilities welcomed; differential pay offered for non-English language services.

Responsibilities

Provide low-barrier, culturally sensitive SUD treatment services.
Conduct screenings and assessments to guide treatment plans.
Formulate individualized, goal-focused treatment plans and facilitate group/individual sessions.
Maintain timely clinical documentation to reflect client progress and compliance.
Collaborate with a diverse team to connect clients with internal/external resources.
