Job summary

Kairos Academies seeks a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization through its next growth phase. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will build on momentum and bring focus, judgment, and disciplined execution to translate progress into stronger outcomes for students.

The successor will inherit a committed team, school leadership, and a culture of coaching, with a strong financial foundation to support sustainable impact over time.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in K–12 education.
• A verifiable record of improving student outcomes and organizational performance while building leadership teams.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans with clear metrics.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate academic progress: set a bar for academic excellence and translate it into student proficiency.
• Strengthen enrollment and student persistence: improve family experience and enrollment.
• Stabilize and align the organization for sustainable impact: clarify priorities and align resources.
• Build and sustain a strong leadership team and culture: develop leaders and accountability.
• Preserve and strengthen Kairos’s distinctive mentoring model and student support.
• Lead Kairos as a credible external partner with the Board and community.
