Job summary

Exelon is seeking an Engineer-Capacity Planning in Oak Brook Terrace, IL, to support design, construction and maintenance of utility infrastructure. You will perform engineering analyses, studies and budgeting to ensure system safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance in a hybrid work environment.

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 2–4 years of professional experience; EIT certification and advanced degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• 2–4 years of professional engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.
• Regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods pertinent to the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering assignments with independent discretion under guidance (70%).
• Performs engineering tasks on large or multiple projects (10%).
• May direct tasks on large projects or multiple small projects (10%).
• Evaluates effectiveness of technical systems and processes; participates on teams (10%).
