Job summary

Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF) is seeking a Community Navigator to support Colorado’s small business owners through pre- and post-loan coaching, financial analysis, and strategic guidance. The role blends in-person collaboration at the Denver HQ with remote work options, requiring weekly on-site presence for cross-functional teamwork.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a small business owner or coach, strong credit analysis skills, and proficiency with CRM systems and accounting tools like

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience as a small business owner or equivalent entrepreneurial experience.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a small business coach.
• Advanced level business communication to teach financial literacy and concepts.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis fundamentals.
• Solid knowledge of small business operations and financial documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis for small business owners as requested by loan officers.
• Assess loan inquiries for completeness and guide applicants through loan requirements.
• Perform credit analysis to assess loan risk and borrower viability.
• Coach clients on financial reporting, marketing, operations, and growth strategies.
• Remain current on tax regulations and guide borrowers to appropriate professionals as needed.
• Develop and deliver workshops/webinars for Colorado small business owners.
• Collaborate with peers and leadership to improve processes.
