HireTalent is seeking a Business Analyst for a 14-month contract in Charlotte, NC, onsite. The role spans definition, requirements, design, build, and delivery phases, with a focus on understanding business drivers and delivering practical solutions.

Responsibilities include eliciting requirements, modeling processes, evaluating options, and coordinating with cross-functional teams throughout planning, testing, and implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate solutions using standard procedures.
• Working knowledge of process modeling techniques and tools (process maps, flowcharts).
• Solid understanding of how business drivers shape project outcomes.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable facilitating interviews and workshops.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and guide newer team members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders to elicit business requirements.
• Document requirements clearly and completely, ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Business Process Analysis: Analyze current-state business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop process maps, flowcharts, and other visual representations to illustrate both current and future-state processes.
• Solution Design & Evaluation: Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution options.
• Evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions and support decision-making with structured analysis.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding.
• Project Support & Collaboration: Provide support to project teams and collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Participate in project planning, testing, and implementation activities.
