Job summary

The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation is seeking a Bilingual Youth Development Specialist to lead and support LGBTQ+ youth programs in Tucson and surrounding communities. You will organize activities, develop curricula, provide crisis referrals, and coordinate outreach with partners while ensuring inclusive, affirming environments.

Qualifications

• Experience working with LGBTQ+ and allied youth.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and implement youth programs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

• Staff the LGBTQ+ and allied youth programs across center and community sites.
• Create, train, and delegate duties for youth programming.
• Provide crisis referrals and connect to supportive services.
• Maintain weekly data and program calendars.
• Plan and facilitate staff- and youth-led programming.
• Conduct outreach and represent SAAF at community events.
• Support outreach and social media presence.
