Job summary

The Lighthouse Mission Ministries is seeking a Behavioral Health Dorm Case Manager to join the Shelter Operations team in Bellingham, WA. You will support residents with mental health symptoms, trauma, or recovery needs, building trust and helping them move toward housing and services.

Qualifications

• At least three years of combined relevant education and experience working with people experiencing crisis, serious mental health concerns, substance use disorders, homelessness, or trauma.
• Direct experience providing case management, crisis intervention, residential support, behavioral health services, or recovery support is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload by assessing resident needs, developing goals, monitoring progress, and meeting regularly one-on-one.
• Build trust-based relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and using grace-based accountability.
• Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with behavioral health, housing, medical, crisis-response, and community providers.
• Advocate appropriately for residents while encouraging responsibility, informed choice, recovery, and progress.
