Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to provide behavioral health assessment, intervention, and crisis evaluation under supervision. The role includes coordinating treatment plans, documenting care, and collaborating with community and emergency services.

This position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and certification/supervision for QMHP, with emphasis on critical thinking, diagnostic skills, and client-centered treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• 1000 practicum hours and/or internship under clinical supervision, or 1 year of QMHP supervision.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; assess/diagnose; develop treatment plans; strong written and spoken communication; plan and organize work; recognize signs of suicidal behavior and respond appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic assessments and determines immediate treatment plan needs.
• Completes treatment plans with patient goals aligned to assessment.
• Provides behavioral health therapy to individuals, families and/or groups.
• Coordinates with Emergency Response Service and crisis teams for high-risk clients.
• Maintains records per policy and regulatory/ accreditation standards.
• Acts as liaison between community and patient needs and coordinates with care partners.
