Job summary

COMHAR INC. seeks a compassionate Behavioral Consultant to provide individualized, person-centered behavioral support and therapeutic services to children, youth, and young adults with mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs in the IBHS program.

You will work directly with clients in their homes, schools, and community settings, implementing treatment plans, promoting positive behavior, and fostering independence, dignity, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time mental health direct services experience for children/youth/young adults or completed practicum with a graduate degree.
• ABA service experience with supervision and 40 hours of ABA training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Design and direct individualized behavioral intervention plans.
• Observe and assess client in school, home, or community settings.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and team members to implement plans.
• Regular monthly peer reviews with a licensed psychologist.
