Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient care under physician supervision. You will conduct comprehensive history taking, physical examinations, and coordinate diagnostic or therapeutic procedures within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include follow-up, health maintenance, patient education, and maintaining accurate medical records. Some areas require additional credentials such as ACLS/PALS or ATLS; a Florida APRN license is essential.

Qualifications

• Masters: Nurse Practitioner (Required).
• APRN license in Florida (State of Florida).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• ATLS/ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area of practice.
• Background check including Level II Criminal History required.

Responsibilities

• Provides follow-up and health maintenance care to patients per accepted standards.
• Organizes and presents patient data to the healthcare team to identify problems and determine diagnostics or therapies.
• Works within a multidisciplinary team to manage diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care.
• Instructs and counsels patients on health promotion and maintenance.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as indicated and maintains comprehensive records.
