Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System seeks a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide evidence-based care in inpatient and outpatient settings under physician supervision. You will participate in rounds, gather histories, perform examinations, and contribute to care plans while coordinating follow-up and preventive services.

The role requires Florida APRN licensure, BLS/ACLS or PALS as required by area, and national NP certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for Nurse Practitioner role.
• APRN license in Florida required.
• BLS and AHA ECARD certifications required.
• ATLS/ACLS/PALS may be required depending on trauma area.
• National NP certification preferred for clinical practice in Pediatrics/Adult areas.

Responsibilities

• Works within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care.
• Obtains complete medical history and performs comprehensive exams.
• Organizes and presents data for rounds to identify problems and determine procedures.
• Supports follow-up and health maintenance per standards of care.
• Maintains accurate patient records across all contacts (in person, virtual, telephone).
