Job summary

Protective Life is seeking an Annuity Case Management Specialist to manage annuity transactions from submission through completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step.

In this role you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high service standards while owning your workload. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in annuity/retirement/finance or bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Minimum 6 months in production environment with production goals
• Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to master multiple systems and adapt to changing environments
• Ownership and adherence to productivity and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Process incoming requests including financial requests, address changes, EFT changes, beneficiary changes and payment redirects
• Review follow-ups and proactively resolve issues to complete processing
• Verify data accuracy and approve release of payments per authority level
• Process payment returns, cancellations, and stop payments
• Meet or exceed customer center, team, and individual goals
• Provide outstanding service to brokers, annuitants, and agencies, including written correspondence
• Suggest improvements to administration and payment systems
• Participate in development, testing, and training as needed
