Meta's Reality Labs Devices Operations team is seeking a Business Analytics Intern to support resource and budget planning, operating rhythms, and enhancements to business tooling. The role involves data collection, analysis, reporting, and applying AI to generate practical recommendations for leadership across devices programs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant field (MS/MA).
• Demonstrated coursework or projects in data analysis.
• Experience with spreadsheets to organize data and support analysis.
• Ability to break down a problem into structured questions and actionable steps.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, Tableau.
• Interest in resource planning, financial planning, program management, or business operations.
• Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete a scoped analytics or business operations project under guidance from a manager and mentor.
• Support requirements gathering with program managers, finance partners, operations leads, and other stakeholders.
• Collect, organize, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Analyze resource, budget, program, or operational data to identify trends and potential risks.
• Use AI tools to assist with research, analysis, synthesis, and reporting.
• Review AI generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, and business relevance.
• Build or enhance dashboards, reports, models, or workflow prototypes.
• Support operating rhythms by preparing metrics, summarizing decisions, and tracking actions.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for technical and business audiences.
• Document assumptions, data sources, methodologies, and processes.
• Present project outcomes to the team and relevant business partners.
