Auburn YMCA-WEIU is seeking a SACC Assistant to support before- and after-school enrichment for children ages 5-12 in a YMCA program. You will help plan and lead activities, ensure safety, supervise behavior, and assist with homework time and snacks.

Responsibilities include implementing activities, maintaining records, attending trainings, and upholding the YMCA's policies and mission. A strong commitment to healthy, positive development for children is essential.

Formación

• Assist in planning and leading daily SACC activities following YMCA policies.
• Observe and follow OCFS guidelines and best practices.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and respectful environment for children.
• Attend scheduled trainings and meetings; pursue ongoing development as required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, organization and leading daily SACC activities.
• Implement and participate in all activities; supervise children.
• Maintain safety by following OCFS guidelines and reporting concerns to supervisor.
• Provide nutritious snacks and supervise homework time as needed.
• Keep accurate daily records and participate in drills and inspections.
