Job summary

Auburn YMCA is seeking a SACC Assistant to support before and after school enrichment programs for children aged 5–12. Under the SACC Director, you will help develop and implement quality activities and supervise participants, ensuring safety and engagement throughout the day.

You will assist with daily operations, maintain records, participate in safety drills, and pursue ongoing professional development in line with OCFS requirements and YMCA policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 30 hours of OCFS training every two years.

Responsibilities

• Plans and leads daily SACC activities for children ages 5–12.
• Maintains a safe, healthy, and fun environment; follows YMCA policies.
• Observes and follows OCFS program guidelines and regulations.
• Acts as a positive role model through appropriate speech, actions, and attire.
• Maintains daily records and supports in monthly fire drills and safety checks.
• Attends staff meetings and pursues professional development per supervisor guidance.
